Women of color are more likely to encounter mental health issues which can have lasting and harmful impacts on their quality of life. Practicing regular and routine self-care has been proven to be an effective way to cultivate mental wellness and sustain mindful living. During this workshop, we will explore some of the systemic challenges that affect black and brown women and journey through a guided sound bath meditation and reflective journaling session led by a mindfulnesss practitioner.
